What is a QR code?

QR codes are machine-scannable images that can instantly be read using a Smartphone camera.

Each organization that subscribes to the Newsie app will receive a unique QR code, which links directly to the Newsie app in the Google Play or Apple store. When scanned by a user, the link detects which type of phone the user has and directs them to the appropriate app store: Google Play or Apple.

When an organization shares their unique QR code, and the app is downloaded using that QR code, the organization's logo is permanently displayed on the sub-header position and links directly to their listing page.
