How does Newsie source content?

Modified on Thu, 12 Oct 2023 at 05:53 PM

The Newsie app uses RSS feeds to showcase news from sources all over the world. An RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed is an online file that contains details about every piece of content a site has published.

Each time a site publishes a new piece of content, details about that content will appear in the Newsie app. Clicking on a headline delivers the user to the source where the full post/story resides. Newsie does not copy, iframe or store any third-party publisher’s content.
